A brave shopkeeper chased after a cheeky crook after he pinched a bottle of champagne from a shop in posh village.
The man parked up outside in a black Toyota Rav 4 and even left the driver’s side door open.
He waltzed into the Premier convenience store and walked straight up to the chilled drink cabinets.

The crook swiped the bottle of bubbly before saying “Cheers mate” to the shop worker.
He replied “Thank you” without spotting he had shoplifted.
But he then quickly worked out what had happened and ran after him.
Two customers looked in shock at what happened.
The thief was seen clambering into his waiting SUV and tried to speed off.
The shopkeeper managed to grab hold of the door and yank it.
But the crook was able to drive away at speed with it still open.
The brazen theft took place in the quaint village of Crockenhill, Kent – where average house prices stand at £680,000 – at 2:05pm on Monday (16 Sept).
Locals reacted with shock, as reported by Need To Know.
Sonny Young said: “All that for a drink.”
Paul McDuffus fumed: “What a d*ckhead.
“For a bottle of plonk, for f*cks sake.”
A third added: “All for one bottle.”
Amin Diamant said: “Unfortunately, England has become a place of crime and theft.
“And it will have terrible consequences if crime and theft are not prevented.”
