A man has been charged in connection with the murders of a woman and her two daughters, who were killed in a crossbow attack at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
Carol Hunt, 61, along with her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, were discovered with fatal injuries on 9 July.
Kyle Clifford, a 26-year-old from north London, was charged with the murders after being found injured the following day in a cemetery in Enfield.
Alongside the murder charges, Clifford faces accusations of false imprisonment and two counts of possessing offensive weapons.
He is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court via video link from police custody.
Initially, police were unable to interview Clifford as he was receiving treatment for his injuries in the hospital, where he remained under arrest.
The victims were the wife and daughters of BBC racing commentator John Hunt.
A fundraising campaign has since been launched to support John Hunt and his surviving daughter, Amy, raising over £120,000.
In a statement, Hunt and Amy expressed that their grief was indescribable.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Gardner, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, stated that investigators have worked diligently to piece together the events of that tragic day.
He acknowledged the length of the investigation but emphasized that the case can now proceed through the legal system in pursuit of justice for the victims’ family.
