Three thugs attempted to kidnap a screaming businessman – but he eventually got the better of them.

A clip of the dramatic altercation shows the suspects arriving at the victim’s house in a black vehicle.

A heavyset man in a red T-shirt rings the victim’s bell before being joined by two hooded accomplices.

The trio then manhandle the screaming businessman towards their car.

While trying to bundle him into the passenger seat, the victim resists and two gunshots are fired, seemingly as a warning.

One of the men, who appears to be holding a gun, can be seen kicking the victim before grabbing him around the neck.

Joined by his colleague, the pair force the victim towards the car again.

But somehow, he manages to break free.

The crooks then flee the scene in their vehicle.

Beaten and bloodied, the victim goes inside his property.

A blue jeep is seen arriving at the home as the driver gets out to check on the victim.

The businessman, named Roberto, reportedly told the driver that he had been shot, as reported by Need To Know.

Roberto, who owns a plastics company, was attacked outside his home in Juticalpa in Honduras on the morning of 3 November.

It is unclear if the victim required hospital care for his injuries.

According to reports, the suspect in the red T-shirt was shot dead in the nearby village of Lepaguare later the same day.

The investigation into the attempted kidnapping and alleged shooting is ongoing.
