A video has surfaced showing the terrifying moment a mum runs away from a deranged monkey while clutching her baby.
The woman, whose name is unknown, is seen rushing in panic across a pathway onto the front porch of her home where a car is parked.
She stops and looks back, clinging onto her baby in her arms, before running over to the door which is protected by iron gates.

Suddenly, a monkey comes flying onto the scene as it races at a very high speed toward her and her baby.
The mum is able to grab onto the gate and get herself inside just in time.
As she closes the gate, the unhinged animal is whacked in the face and scrambles off out of view.
The woman stands on the other side of the gate, with her hand on one of the rails as she watches on in terror.
Luckily, both the mum and baby stayed safe in their home.
Since being shared on 19 November, the video has attracted over 410,000 views, as reported by Need To Know.
The clip was captured on a camera set up in the corner of the ceiling of the porch at the home in Malaysia.
The reason behind why the monkey had begun to chase the woman is unknown, as is where it had appeared from.
Afterward, it is presumed that the monkey ran off, after realising that it had in fact, lost the chase.
