He told the driver: “I’m arresting you on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug namely Class B cannabis with intent to supply.”
Locals mocked the driver, as reported on Need To Know.

The arrest in the City of London was made as part of a week-long operation to target drivers without insurance
A City of London Police spokesperson said: “Cannabis with a street value of £35,000 was found in a vehicle by officers during Operation Drive insured, a week-long intensification operation against uninsured motorists.
“Officers from the Targeted Intercept and Tactical ANPR team stopped the vehicle and discovered 3.5kg of cannabis in the boot.
“A 29-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply and released on conditional bail, pending further enquiries.
“He was also disqualified from driving and had no insurance. The car was seized and impounded.”
Ch Insp Jo Cash, City of London Police said: “Our work during this week of intensification shows that uninsured driving is not an isolated issue.
“It often uncovers other criminality, and the work of our officers has not only seized vehicles but taken drugs off the streets.”
