Zahie and Alberto’s car had been surrounded by a group of people.
Employees who worked at the TV station quickly reported the crime, which led to authorities taking immediate action.

The chef, on the Mexican version of the show, and her husband, were quickly located at a home in the municipality of Huitzilac, Cuernavaca, Mexico.
At the time of their kidnapping, they were close to Parres and had pulled over on the Mexico-Cuernavaca highway.
Neither sustained any injuries but were examined by a doctor as a precaution.
The chef and her partner were then escorted to their home in Mexico City, where they are now safe and sound.

One person has been arrested after being found driving the vehicle which belonged to Zahie and Alberto, as reported by Need To Know.
