A retired Olympic gymnast has been banned from social media for posting sexy content online.
Wu Liufang, who has 2.6 million followers on Douyin, which is China’s version of TikTok, has recently attracted new fans after her account took a raunchy turn.
The 30-year-old regularly uploads videos of her dancing in shorts, mini skirts and stockings.

But Wu, who is a former member of the Chinese women’s gymnastics team, has received a mixed reaction online.
Guan Chenchen, who is also a retired Chinese artistic gymnast, openly shared her thoughts on Wu’s career choice.
She said she found the risqué videos to be disrespectful, especially to the sport.
And now, Wu’s account appears to have been restricted.
It is reported that she openly apologised after having an argument with Guan in the comment section under one of her own posts.
Since then, the former gymnast has had her account partially banned for violating community regulations.
Her followers spotted that her account had disappeared on the evening of 24 November, as reported by Need To Know.
The restriction means Wu is unable to accept new followers.
Some of her fans have rushed to support her and say it is her choice to make money however she likes.
In a live video on her Douyin page, Wu has also previously stated that her parents support her lifestyle.
Wu became an internet celebrity after retiring from gymnastics in 2013 due to an injury.
Wu’s time as an Olympic gymnast saw her win many championships in the balance bar, high bar, and the Gymnastics World Cup.
