A furious man smashed up a claw machine in a fit of anger after failing to grab a teddy bear.

Bizarre CCTV footage shows the man in evident frustration as he gesticulates in front of the arcade game.

Later on in the clip, he can be seen grabbing a folding chair and slamming it hard against the glass box.

Meanwhile, startled diners look on, not knowing quite how to react.

After breaking a hole in the cabinet, the man reaches in and grabs the soft toys inside.

He throws one toward a baffled diner sitting nearby.

Then, one by one, he flings the remainder of the toys across the bus terminal.

Finally, he walks away empty-handed in a huff.

The 34-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after his rage-fuelled antics on Tuesday (November 26).

He flew into a rage after failing to win a prize from the game at the Tianguá Bus Terminal in the city, northeast of Brasilia, Brazil.

The Ceará Military Police said in a statement: “At around 5:30 pm, after being called, officers began efforts to capture the suspect who had damaged the machine and thrown the stuffed bears into the bus terminal’s food court.

“According to witnesses, the man became frustrated after failing to grab the bears and, as a result, broke the machine.”

The suspect was taken to the Tianguá Regional Civil Police Station, as reported by Need To Know.

He was charged with theft with aggravating factors.

It emerged that he had a criminal record for document theft.
