One half of a “crime couple” ditched his girlfriend and left her in their victims’ hands after her getaway bike broke down.
CCTV footage of the drama opens with the man getting off the motorbike on an empty road in broad daylight.
As he walks towards another bike parked on the pavement, his girlfriend moves from the pillion to the rider’s seat.

The helmeted man jams a tool resembling an Allen key into the frame of the bike and twists it to unstick the front wheel.
Seconds later, he hops onto the bike, starts it, and begins to ride away.
As he goes down the road, he looks over his shoulder at his girlfriend as she tries to start the getaway bike.
She hits the pedal again and again in a desperate bid to start the engine.
But instead of helping her, he zooms into the distance.
Meanwhile, two men run out onto the street.
The woman gets off the getaway bike and tries to start it on the roadside as the pair run towards her.
One – possibly the stolen bike’s owner – wraps his arm around her neck and leads her away forcefully.
The images do not show how the men bundled the woman into a home, presumably to teach her a lesson.
The bizarre scenes unfolded on Friday (6 Dec) in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
The police announced the next day (7 Dec) that they had not received any complaints about the theft or the vigilante justice.
Detectives are working to identify those involved, as reported by Need To Know.
No arrests had been made at the time of the last update on Saturday.
