A pregnant ex-pat plunged to death from a fourth-floor window weeks before her wedding.
Taiany Caroline Martins Matos was set to tie the knot to Edgar van den Boom – who she’d been with for three years.
Tragic Taiany – originally of Planaltina, northeast of Brasilia, Brazil – had been living in Europe for six years.

Dutch sales manager, Edgar, had proposed to her and the two were planning to tie the knot later this month.
Teacher, Taiany, 32, had moved from Belgium to live with him in Breda, Netherlands, five months ago.
She had gone home in November to spend Christmas with her family.
She had told them she was pregnant – and that she wanted to stay in Brazil.
However, she had left to spend New Year’s Eve with her boyfriend in Paris, France.
The night before her fall on Friday (3 Jan) morning, Taiany had gone to a party with two Brazilian friends.
Edgar, 53, had spent the whole night calling her, so – out of fear – she had waited until the morning to return home.
He was in when she plunged from the window.
Authorities have concluded her death was an accident.
Her brother, Rayan Martins de Oliveira, says he received an email from the Breda police about 36 hours after the tragedy.
He said: “They said the cause of death was an accident, with no crime involved.
“And that we would have to cover the costs of bringing her body back, just like that.”
Her family is now fundraising in a bid to fly her remains back home to Brazil, as reported by Need To Know.
