A cleaner has allegedly assaulted an 83-year-old client after she requested a bonus and it was denied.
Heather Nelson is said to have caused physical harm to her employer before robbing her.
The 29-year-old is reported to have asked the elderly woman for a £412 bonus after she had finished cleaning her home.
She was reportedly denied the extra pay.
According to police, the rejection triggered Nelson to “physically wrench the victim’s checkbook from her hand”.

In a statement shared online, police said the alleged assailant almost broke the wrist of the elderly woman.
Nelson is then alleged to have written herself a stolen check for £1,155.
She is also accused of taking the victim’s credit card.

Police said Nelson used the card to pay her rent and make several other purchases.
The alleged assault and theft occurred on Christmas Eve last year at a home in Brevard County, Florida, in the US.
Police said that Nelson now faces numerous charges, as reported by Need To Know.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office listed “robbery, aggravated battery on a person over 65, forgery, uttering a forged instrument, criminal use of personal identification, fraudulent use of a credit card, and grand theft”.
Nelson was arrested on 7 January, according to jail records which were obtained by People.
On the same day, Sheriff Wayne Ivey said: “Another great job by Agent Sherrill and our General Crimes Unit as Nelson is now exactly where she belongs… in jail – where she can’t bully or victimise another member of our community.”
