A thief has been slammed by a restaurant after he stole the iPad they use for bookings in the middle of the day.
Unagi sushi bar in Salford Quays, Manchester, has launched a plea after being targeted by the crook.
CCTV footage shows the individual checking that their surroundings are clear before reaching over pinching the iPad from the counter.

The alleged incident took place on Saturday 11 January 2025, at 1:30pm.
Shortly after the incident, the restaurant said: “As if January isn’t already tough enough.
“As everyone knows January is a VERY tough time for the hospitality industry, then you get idiots like this who make it impossible.
“Cheers for that, happy new year to you too.
“We’re already facing enough challenges and you’ve really just put the cherry on the top.
“Taking our IPad which controls all of our bookings system.
“If anyone happens to have seen this guy around the Salford Quays area please give us a shout.
“But also any businesses in the SQ area, watch out.”
The sushi bar is located opposite the Lowry theatre, in Media City, Salford Quays, just a stones throw from the ITV and BBC studios.
Locals have been left shocked by the news.
One person said: “I’m so sorry.”

Another said: “So sorry this happened and your employees are such sweet people. Always serving everything with the utmost kindness.”
Sadie said: “Just not fair.”
Another said: “Gutting what an arsehole.”

Ella added :”Scum.”
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for a statement, as reported by Need To Know.
