The trio whizzed onto the greens and did doughnut spins on the manicured grass.
Two of them were on one of the quad bikes and the third was on a second.

A shocked dog walker filmed as they sped across the course in hoods and masks.
They skidded across the 27-hold course, damaging six greens and three tees.
It happened on Sunday (19 Jan) at the Thorndon Park Golf Club, in Brentwood, Essex.

The course was forced to close entirely on the day.
Currently, only 12 holes are available to be played by golfers.
The gold club bosses have reported it to the police.
“There has been a lot of damage caused by the incident,” a spokesperson for the club told Need To Know.

“Certain holes are now unplayable, which has left us in panic stations.
“At this time of year, the grass doesn’t grow so we are facing some issues.

“We believe we have found the point where the riders accessed the course.
“The bikes made their exit and headed towards Basildon.

“The police were called on the 19 January.”
Essex Police has been approached for comment.
