Upon arrival, they discovered three women, who are believed to be related, suffering from severe injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, all three women died at the scene a short time later.
Hertfordshire Police have launched an investigation into the triple murder and are actively seeking Clifford, a resident of Enfield, north London. They have advised the public not to approach him and to report any sightings immediately.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating: “This is an incredibly difficult incident for the victims’ family, and we ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with what has happened.
Although we are in the early stages of this investigation, we are actively searching for Kyle Clifford, who we believe could be in Hertfordshire or North London.”
Hall continued, “Given the serious nature of the incident, I urge anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact the police immediately. If you believe you see him, do not approach him and call 999 straight away. He may still be in possession of a weapon.”
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service reported that a hazardous area response team and air ambulance crews were sent to the scene. “Sadly, despite the team’s best efforts, three women were pronounced dead at the scene,” the spokesperson said.
Local councillors Louise Nicolas, Alan Matthews, and Paul Richards expressed their sorrow in a joint statement: “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic news that three women have lost their lives in a violent incident in the heart of our local community.
As North Bushey councillors, we extend our thoughts and condolences to their families and all those affected. We encourage anyone with information relevant to the inquiry to contact the police.”
The community remains on edge as the search for Kyle Clifford continues, with authorities urging vigilance and cooperation from the public.
