A hapless man forgot to put the handbrake on his car whilst heading into a cafe, resulting in it rolling into the sea.
He had parked up after approaching a row of spaces right beside a port.
He stepped out of his silver Nissan Micra, and the moment he closed the door, the car started to roll.

Unfortunately, he did not look back and walked away heading towards the entrance to a eatery.
A CCTV camera captured the moment the vehicle tumbled into the water.
As the man walked out of view, the car edged closer to the sea at IJmuiden (corr), near Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The car then flew over the edge into the sea, as another vehicle pulled up into one of the parking spaces at the scene.
Emergency services arrived at the scene promptly at around 2.30pm on Monday (29 Jan), just moments after it happened.
Both the fire service and police attended as well as several ambulances and even a trauma helicopter.
At first there were fears that people had been injured however it was soon established that no injuries had occurred.
The vehicle became completely submerged in the water and was recovered by specialists, as reported by Need To Know.

A diving team was on hand to help firefighters locate the vehicle as bystanders are said to have watched on in amazement.
It is expected that the driver will most likely face considerable financial damage due to car insurance not usually fully covering this type of accident.
Recovering a vehicle from water is thought to incur a high price.
