Concerned gym goers immediately gathered around her in a bid to help, but they weren’t able to make her responsive.
A man could be seen picking her up and laying her on the floor as the footage ended.
The horror unfolded in Santo Estêvão, Brazil, on Monday (17 Feb).
Local media say Soares reported a severe headache while working her leg muscles.
Moments before fainting, she reportedly struggled to breathe.
Local media say an instructor provided first aid until an ambulance arrived.
Soares was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead en route, as reported by Need To Know.

The report clarifying the cause of death is still pending, but it’s believed Soares died from a sudden illness.
It’s not known if she had an underlying health condition, but a police spokesperson said there were “no signs of a crime”.
The gym, Sants Fit, closed on Tuesday (18 Feb) as a sign of respect.
