The bookies were left red faced after their till was emptied by an ecstatic customer.
Tom could not believe his luck after his punt paid off winning an astonishing £55,253.50.

The betting company offers a betting interest in six races on a card.
For a small stake, punters can land a share of big Placepot fund dividends.
Unfortunately for a large portion of betters their day took a huge hit after the shock double fall in the Champion Hurdle.
Favourite Constitution Hill and State Man dramatically fell during the race with the 25/1 Golden Ace going on to win.

Punters applauded the jaw dropping winnings, as reported by Need To Know.
Dan Friel said: “Fair play to him.”
Dean Taylor said: “Just the 55 bags and change.”
One added: “If that’s true, it’s an incredible bet.”

Another said: “Seeing bets like this makes me realise I haven’t a clue how to bet.”
A Tote Racing spokesperson: “We’ve been cleaned out at Cheltenham Races.

“It was a Champion day for Placepot punters at the Cheltenham Festival.”
