A lucky-to-be-alive man was left with a knife sticking out of his back after being stabbed during a fight.
Osvaldo Rodrigues Mescouto do Rosário was knifed between the shoulder blades.
He received the nasty injury during a brawl with another man.

But he miraculously survived after the knife attack on Sunday (16 Mar) afternoon.
Osvaldo was assisted at the scene in Vila do Treme, north of Brasilia, Brazil.
He was then taken to a hospital in nearby Bragança.
Horror footage shows how the entire blade was left embedded in his back, between his spine and right shoulder blade.
Only the knife handle could be seen protruding out of the deep, wide wound.
The police were called shortly after the incident and began searching for the suspect after taking his description.
They arrested suspect Abrão Furtado Mescouto after finding him walking close to his home.
He reportedly had injuries to his mouth and bruises on his neck.
Abrão claimed to the officers that Osvaldo had caused the wounds during the altercation, prior to the stabbing.
He was taken to the local police station and is now awaiting legal proceedings.
He is potentially facing attempted murder charges, as reported by Need To Know.
The motive for the fight has not been disclosed, but the local authorities are investigating the case.
Local media say the men may be related, as Osvaldo’s last surname is the same as Abrão’s first.
Residents of Vila do Treme claim it is not the first time the pair have argued.
