An influencer has been slammed online after admitting that she gave her friend a basket full of healthy goodies and a set of scales for her birthday.
Rosana Ferreia was shocked when her pal refused to accept the present.
The 38-year-old beauty pageant queen – who won the first-ever edition of the Miss BumBum competition – says the negative reaction was “completely unexpected”

The basket in question contained whey, creatine, liquid carbs and Rosana’s favourite protein food: eggs.

She claims to eat 1,200 eggs per month herself.
The content creator, who has 153,000 followers, also took to her Instagram Stories to defend her decision – but it has not gone down well.
“I received the basket back [in the post from my friend], accompanied by a long message on WhatsApp,” Rosana told Need To Know.

“Part of the message said: ‘I don’t understand your intentions, but this gift made me uncomfortable’.
“’Do you think I’m fat? Are you trying to tell me something I didn’t notice?’
“I never intended to offend or embarrass my friend.
“She always said she wanted to change, that she wanted to start a healthier life.
“I thought it would be a kind way to give her a little push.
“After sharing what happened online, I received a lot of reactions.

“I was heavily criticised by most of my followers, who considered the gesture insensitive.”
Rosana, who comes from Brazil, hoped that giving her pal space and time would mend their friendship.
Sadly, this was not the case.
She said: “I just wanted to help.
“But if she didn’t like it, I understand.

“My way of living isn’t for everyone, and I understand that some people may interpret it wrongly.
“I am upset and still don’t understand why my friend got mad at me because of it.
“I don’t regret what I did because my intention was good.
“My friend told me that she wished she had a body like mine.

“So, from my perspective, all the signs pointed to it being a thoughtful gift.”
This isn’t the only time Rosana has suffered tension in her personal life.
The mum recently revealed that she is “too hot” for the school run, with other mums whispering behind her back.

She has spent years getting “judgmental looks” when picking up her son, 11-year-old Marcelo.
Rosana said: “Whenever I showed up [at the school run], I noticed judgmental looks, whispers and even hostile situations.
“I dealt with malicious comments about my appearance on multiple occasions.
“Some moms make a point of ignoring me, as if my presence bothers them.”
