Footage showed the suspect talking to the camera while apparently filming the victim’s dead body on her bed.

Cícero, 35, reportedly took his own life shortly afterward, as reported by Need To Know.
The alleged murder and suicide took place in Rondonópolis, located west of Brasilia, Brazil.
The victim alerted the authorities when she saw Cícero climbing over the wall of her house.

As he forced his way in, she pressed the panic button on the women’s safety app, ‘SOS Mulher MT. ’
She then locked the door to her bedroom and waited for the police to arrive.

But the suspect forced his way into her locked room before they got there.
He then allegedly stabbed her to death in the early hours of 20 March.
The police arrived on the scene and found both bodies in the room.

Prior to the attack, Farias had taken out a protective order against her ex-partner.
The suspect had a long criminal record that included causing bodily harm, making threats and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The investigation is ongoing.
