The staff member – wearing the supermarket uniform – said: “One more.”
The alleged crook replies: “No, that’s mine.”
The worker then walks off with the three bottles of wine.
A member of the public filmed the confrontation on their mobile phone.
It happened in Exmouth Market, Farringdon, north London yesterday (27 Mar).

The nearest Co op is on Tysoe Street a few yards away as reported by Need To Know.
Locals said the man looked like Hollywood star De Niro.
Geoff Spuhler joked: “De Niro let himself go since Trump.”

Another agreed with the likeness.
While others praised the shop worker with one local saying: “Excellent work by the employee.”
And another added: “Well done that employee.”

The Co-op and Metropolitan Police have been approached for comment.
