CCTV footage shows the man entering the store and taking pictures of the trainers on 4 April.
To distract members of staff, the thief took an interest in some of the other items on display.
During this time, a woman entered the store and headed towards the area where the valuable shoes were held.
Entering the glass display room, she quickly snatched the shoes and hid them under her top.
The thief then casually made her way out of the shop into the busy street during the Polanco flower festival.
The shoes were taken from the shop in Polanco, Mexico City.

The store describes the shoes as “a piece of art”.
A spokesperson for Gallery stated: “As a piece of art that reflects the essence of the sneaker world, the symbolic value it represents for the brand is invaluable.
“At Gallery, we thank our community for being part of an authentic and supportive environment, and we ask society and authorities to help us find those responsible.”
