A former ‘sexy’ prison guard has lifted the lid on the strict rules she had to follow when dealing with inmates – including no flirty conversations or accepting gifts, despite them frequently “trying their luck”.
Alicia Davis hit the headlines after revealing her career switch from working in a medium-security men’s prison to sharing raunchy snaps online.
The 32-year-old says her former job was often a challenge because of her good looks.

Inmates would constantly compliment Alicia or attempt to have personal chats with her.

And despite her wearing the regulated uniform, her appearance also seemed to anger the prisoners’ wives and girlfriends during family visits – with many throwing dirty looks her way.
The OnlyFans model who boasts 119,000 followers on Instagram, @aliciadavisxx, used to earn £46,000 a year but now pulls in £280,000.
“The inmates made sure to greet me each day”, said Alicia.

“They didn’t do this with any other female staff – I was singled out.
“They would ask me how my day was going or what time I finished, hundreds of times during each shift.
“Or they’d comment on my appearance, such as saying: ‘You look really good today’ or noticing the finer details about my look.
“If I had my hair tied up differently, they would spot it instantly.

“It was sweet of them, but it was so important for me to tell them that these sorts of comments aren’t appropriate.
“Who wouldn’t enjoy the attention and compliments, but I had to constantly reject them.
“Sometimes, on the day they were released, they’d find my Instagram and ask to meet up.

“The men would get a rise out of me responding to their advances or remembering their name, which seems harmless – but everything they do is a test.
“It quickly becomes a game of manipulation.
“Some of the wives used to come in during visiting hours and just stare me down.
“Inmates weren’t allowed to kiss during visits, but many tried anyway.

“I often had to step in to separate couples, which annoyed the wives or girlfriends who would become upset and target me personally.
“I never strip-searched male prisoners, but I did strip-search female visitors – which is probably another reason they resented me so much.
“Visitors faced strict dress codes, and anyone wearing revealing clothing like low-cut tops was turned away.
“I don’t know what their husbands said to them about me, but I didn’t react to the comments or stares.

“You can’t let the prisoners or partners get to you.”
Alicia, who is from the Australian Gold Coast, was not allowed to wear make-up or have coloured nails, had to keep her hair slicked back and could not alter her uniform in any way.
Jewellery was also a strict no-no, as it could be stolen – or used as a violent weapon.
She said: “It was made very clear that I couldn’t look ‘pretty’ at all.
“I used to get my eyelashes done, which they eventually told me I wasn’t allowed to have, either.

“We were told to build up really strong relationships with the prisoners – which was tricky to do when you also weren’t allowed to form an emotional attachment.
“We needed them to trust us enough to talk about anything, such as if there was something happening underhand.
“Because I was close with many of them, they’d often try to give me gifts – which I couldn’t accept.
“They don’t have much in there, but it would be small items like woodwork or metalwork that they make themselves while inside as a kind – or flirtatious – gesture.

“Food was also a big one – no matter how tasty, I was forbidden from saying yes because you’d never know if they had put something in it or spat in it.
“One of the prisoners offered me dumplings once, that he had made himself, a dish I find particularly hard to refuse, so I did eat one.
“Thankfully, nothing happened, and it was quite tasty!”
While Alicia enjoyed her job, she longed for financial freedom.
She came across OnlyFans and, after realising it was a cash cow, quit her job in February 2022.

Alicia added: “I loved my job as a prison guard.
“But my new career gives me the freedom to work in my own time and be myself with no restrictions.
“I can wear what I want and flirt with whoever I want without the fear of being punished.
“Now, I set the rules.”
