A gang of shameless burglars were caught red-handed while trying to break into a Mexican restaurant.
Four men – none of them wearing masks to hide their identities – tried to force entry to La Chingada.
The group scurried away after being interrupted by a hero neighbour who stepped outside.
In a panic, they left behind a rucksack and a tool they were using to force the door open – but one man rushed back to pick them up, as reported by Need To Know.
It happened in Eversholt Street, Euston, central London, at 5.32 am on Friday (18 Apr).

It was captured on CCTV.
A La Chingada spokesperson said, “They tried to break into our restaurant.
“Four individuals, no masks, full faces caught on camera.
“At 5.32 am, they attempted to force the door of our Euston branch.
“Until a neighbour unknowingly interrupted their plan.
“We share this not to create fear, but to show how vulnerable small businesses are.
“If you recognise anyone, message us.
“Because we may be La Chingada, but we don’t go down easy.”
One customer said: “Amazing now these scums are not even wearing the masks.
“Just no fear at all.”

Jonno joked: “Smile, boys, you’re on CCTV. Clowns.”
Alex added: “How can they be that stupid?”
Wayne joked: “Criminal masterminds.”

Another person added: “Do they not realise CCTV is all over London, especially in central?”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “At around 8:16 pm on Friday, 18 April, police were made aware of reports of an attempted burglary at a restaurant in Eversholt Street, NW1.
“Damage was caused to the entrance door, but nothing was stolen.
“No arrests have been made at this stage, and investigations remain ongoing.
“Police are aware of a video regarding this incident and ask anyone with information to call 101 or ‘X’@METCC and quote CAD6518/18Apr.”
