But it toppled over while making the delivery.
CCTV footage showed the lorry slowly tilting over until crashing on its side, apparently due to the load being too heavy, as reported by Need To Know.
Four workers were waiting to receive the window frames on the family’s patio.
They had to run for their lives as the crane came crashing down, smashing the windows and sending broken glass flying.
The bungled delivery took place in the village of Avenhorn, located north of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on Tuesday morning (22 Apr).
Three gardens were reportedly damaged by the crashed crane along with the delivered items.
The crane operator was not in the cab at the time and was not injured.
A police investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
