School leavers have been arrested after muck-up day chaos sparked fighting and arson.
Police were called in to colleges across the Netherlands after pupils caused carnage following their final exams.
At Oostvaarders College in Almere, chaos erupted when students began fighting each other.

The school was vandalised and responding police had to use batons to get the situation under control.
Three pupils were arrested for insulting an officer and at least one cop was injured in the melee.
Despite a ban on pranks at Rotterdam’s Rudolf Steiner College, pupils climbed onto the school roof.
From the vantage point, they hurled eggs and set off fireworks, prompting baton-wielding police to be called in.

When responding cops arrived at Alma College in Almelo, they found heavy-duty fireworks being set off.
After breaking up the 100-strong crowd, they arrested four boys for public disorder and a girl for insulting an officer.
A police spokesperson told local media: “We’re now investigating exactly what happened and will decide whether to extend their detention based on that.”

At a school in Elburg, a scrap car was set alight, leading to the fire brigade being called in to extinguish the blaze.
Other pupils barricaded the doors to the college with bales of hay, as reported by Need To Know.

Christelijk College Groevenbeek in Ermelo was placed in lockdown in a bid to stop all hell breaking loose.
Muck-up day, also known as a senior prank, is a tradition where graduating students, often near the end of the school year, organise pranks at their school.

These pranks can range from harmless mischief to more elaborate and potentially damaging acts.
Clips of the mayhem across Holland show classrooms being ransacked, fire extinguishers being used in corridors and smoke bombs being set off.
Some schools urged parents to keep their children at home in the days following final exams.
It happened at the colleges between 15 and 16 April.
