Both men had rucksacks.
After allegedly breaking into the unattended trolley, the man in the orange jacket took out the Royal Mail bag from inside.
He then pedalled away on a bike.
His accomplice then produced a large bag and filled it with the rest of the contents from the trolley.
He then calmly closed the trolley before making off on another bike, in Augusta Street, Poplar, east London last Friday (25 Apr).

Locals were left fuming, as reported by Need To Know.
One said: “This bothers me.
“Just imagine someone anxiously waiting for an important letter from a hospital, a letter from a war zone, or a card wishing a young person well.

“Some letters carry significant messages
“So why steal.
“Furthermore, no one sends money through the post anymore.”
Another said: “Poor postie will get into trouble for failing to keep the mail secure.”
Another added: There’s no policing anymore.

“No politicians who show concern.
“No rules or restrictions on anything.”
The Metropolitan Police and Royal Mail have been approached for comment.
