A singer has died at the age of 28, just weeks after mystery surgery.
Linda Elizabeth Mendoza Ponce – known by her stage name, Lean Ponce – needed a blood donor.
She created music which fused pop and electronic styles.

Her exact cause of death on Monday (28 Apr) has not yet been confirmed.
On 5 April, her mother requested blood donors after Linda underwent major surgery.

No further details were provided which left her fans unsure of what type of an op she had.
Her death has left her family, friends and fans heartbroken, as reported by Need To Know.
Musician pal, Mike Nevarez, said: “I swear I really wasn’t expecting this news.
“May God have you in his holy glory, you will always be in my heart, and I will go beyond as you always wanted.

“I will always miss you, it was always a pleasure to be your friend through these years and laugh.
“Thank you for sharing your beautiful aura with me.”
Mike added: “I love you, dear friend, may God keep you forever.
“Take your rest, my dear friend, you will never be forgotten.”

Linda, of Torreón, west of Monterrey, Mexico, was best known for her songs titled, No Te Necesito, and Con La Luna En La Cabeza.
Her latest single, Calma Niño, was released last month.
Linda’s music was created as a message of comfort for those going through difficult times and dealing with feelings of grief and anxiety.
