He then shoved one of the employees and was involved in an angry exchange with the trio.
“Call the f*cking police,” was heard during the row.
“I told you to open the bag.”
One worker said, “Shut up.”
But the man said: “It’s assault, it’s assault.
“I’m telling you this is assault.”
It happened at the Tesco Express on Uxbridge Road, Ealing, west London, yesterday (6 May) morning.

Locals hailed the brave workers at the store, as reported on Need To Know.
Steve Smith said, “Well done, staff.”
James Gilvarry claimed, “Get caught stealing is assault now.

“F*ck my life.”
Calvin McDonald added: “As someone with a background in law, everything looks all above board here.
“Although it’s strange, they can’t perform citizen’s arrests but can detain them until the police arrive.
“Just one of the quirks of the law.”
Bertie added: “They actually locked the doors for once.”

Another said: “Security on point.”
Damian Wawrzyniak claimed, “Lovely, finally something is happening with all those thugs.”
One-named Dave joked: “So close, babe, it’s Tesco.
“Keep trying, though.”
The Met Police and Tesco have been approached for comment.
