“He wasn’t microchipped and we’ve not been able to track down an owner.

“But we do know that he is the sweetest-natured little fellow with the most adorable miaow.

“He has been an absolute star in spite of the pain he must be in.

“He is being closely monitored and is having regular vet visits.“

Arthur is now receiving treatment for his burns but might need surgery, as reported by Need To Know.

Claire added: “He’s on antibiotics and we’re also applying topical meds to his skin daily.

“In spite of the pain he must be in, he is doing so well.

“Arthur may need surgery to remove his ear tips – but we’re going to cross that bridge when we come to it.
