A thief snatched a gold chain from an unsuspecting woman’s neck as she lunched with a pal in a café.
The suspect was allegedly with an accomplice at the time.
CCTV cameras showed the pair arriving at the café terrace before one of them headed towards the victim.

The thug approached the woman, sitting with her back to him, and carefully grasped the chain around her neck.
He then apparently yanked the jewellery item from her neck as her head was forced back.
The suspect then ran off before the victim could turn around to see what had happened, as reported by Need To Know.
His pal apparently followed him down the street.
The brazen theft took place in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on Tuesday (20 May).
The police later confirmed that the two men have been identified and are believed to be members of a local gang known as ‘Gangue da Correntinha’.
Earlier this month, a 20-year-old suspected gang member was arrested for stealing a chain and swallowing it to prevent it from being recovered at the scene.
At the end of April, the Civil and Military Police arrested five men aged between 19 and 40 who are suspected of being members of the gang.
The authorities believe the same gang was involved in the latest theft.
The investigation is ongoing.
