An influencer who was given a Hermès bag by a potential suitor was stunned to discover it was actually fake.
Ju Isen was gifted the Birkin 30 as a romantic gesture, but noticed something “off” with the detailing.
The 25-year-old model, who is no stranger to high-end clothing, accessories and shoes, said she sent it back with a “polite but direct note”.

But she insisted it wasn’t about the money.
“He gave me the bag with a whole speech of ‘you deserve the best,’” Ju told Need To Know.

“And I really thought it was something special.
“But all it took was a closer look to see something was off.
“The material, the finish, the details – everything looked wrong.
“I checked, and it was indeed a fake.”
Ju, who shares her lavish lifestyle with her 2.5 million Instagram followers, didn’t hesitate to return the bag once she knew it was counterfeit.

She said, “I sent it back with a polite but direct note.
“It’s not about the price – it’s about honesty.
“I value real gestures, even if they are simple.
“I’d rather have a real flower than a fake bag.”
The Hermès Birkin 30 is one of the most iconic and sought-after luxury handbags in the world.
It is a structured, tote-style handbag with double top handles, a flap closure, and a distinctive lock and key.
It can cost anywhere from £13,000 to upwards of £80,000, depending on the style, colour and leather.
Ju, who hails from Brazil, added: “Some men think they can impress with flashiness and fake appearances.
“But that only works for so long.
“What really matters is authenticity, care, and truth.”
