A tourist was left dangling from the top of a palm tree after parasailing went wrong on a beach.
Guillermo Lozano enjoyed a peaceful glide when a gust of wind threw him off course.
The 27-year-old crashed into a seven-metre-tall palm tree, with the accident quickly being reported by stunned onlookers.

Guillermo became entangled in the tree’s branches and was left hanging high above the ground in full view of beachgoers, according to emergency personnel.
Members of Bahía de Banderas Civil Protection, along with state firefighters and nearby hotel staff, rushed to the scene.


José de Jesús Negrete González, 36, climbed the tree and was able to rescue the trapped tourist using ropes.
Guillermo was seen stuck in the tree.
And when he was brought back to the ground last Tuesday (17 Jun).
Fortunately, he only sustained minor injuries, as reported by Need To Know.
He was treated on-site by paramedics and officer Jazmín Hernández determined that he did not need to go to hospital.


The incident occurred at around 12.10pm on 16 June in Bahía de Banderas, a bay on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
Guillermo, originally from Monterrey, was staying at the Hotel Riu Jalisco, an all-inclusive resort directly on the beach in Bahia de Banderas.
People joked in the comments section of the post shared by the Civil Protection and Firefighters of Banderas Bay.
