A woman is under investigation for allegedly driving for over five miles in the wrong direction along the motorway.
Dashcam footage shows how other drivers — including one behind the wheel of a lorry — had to swerve to avoid her.
The police say she drove for over eight kilometres in the wrong direction along Autovía A-49, heading past Huelva, Spain, and towards the Portuguese border.

It is close to the Algarve region of southern Portugal – home to Albufeira and Vilamoura.
It’s estimated that over two million Brits head to the region every year for their holidays.
The emergency services say several motorists called them to alert them to the dangerous driver, as reported by Need To Know.
Witnesses say she was driving “completely normally” along the dual carriageway as if it were a single carriageway.
Despite travelling for miles against the flow of traffic, she apparently made no attempt to avoid other vehicles or correct her course.
Other motorists in the left-hand lane were forced to take sudden evasive action to avoid head-on collisions.
Police were able to identify the vehicle and track the driver down after reviewing CCTV footage.
The Civil Guard announced on Saturday (19 Jul) that it had launched an investigation into the driver, whose identity is withheld.
A spokesperson said: “The woman is now under investigation as the alleged perpetrator of a road safety offence.
“The case file has been submitted to the duty court in Huelva handling the matter.”
