Luckily, Mark from Yorkshire Rescue was with the 56-year-old within half an hour.
The star’s motor was loaded onto the truck and taken to the car park of the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford.
Dion then called out a mobile engineer to fit a new tyre to his Lotus.
The former footballer surprised both the workers with a cheeky selfie to thank them for their service.

Ozzy from Mobile Tyre Buddy sorted the star’s car whilst he snapped some action shot images of the ordeal.
The burst tyre took place on Wednesday (30 Jul) as reported by Need To Know.
Dion Dublin stated: “Well, that wasn’t much fun.
“Huge thanks to Yorkshire Rescue, who were with me within 30 minutes, and a special thank you to Mark, top fella.
“Back in the game.
“Huge thanks to Mobile Tyre Buddy for the lightning-fast response. Ozzy was absolutely brilliant.”

Fans were left shocked by the incident.
Joanne O’Connell said: “So long as you & your family are ok, that’s all that matters Dion.”
Michael Clitheroe added: “He looks right happy to have his picture taken.”
Mark Summers said: “Take it he wasn’t a Villa fan.”

Chris Albutt said: “At least you’re safe and well Dion.”
Oliver added: “Hardly surprising it’s eating its own tyres when it weighs the same as the moon.”
