A young mum-to-be was murdered after she defied her boyfriend’s demand that she take abortion pills.
Génesis Gabriela Medina Puertas was last seen leaving work and getting into a white pickup truck.
She did not say where she was going but promised she would be back shortly.

However, she never returned on Saturday (2 Aug).
It later emerged that she was taken to a hotel, where her boyfriend, George Rangel, allegedly tried to force her to end the pregnancy.

When she refused, the 28-year-old allegedly bound, gagged, and suffocated her.
After killing her, he drove her body from the hotel to a remote farm reportedly owned by his father, it is alleged.
In a wooded area of the property, he is suspected of digging a shallow grave and buried her.
Authorities believe Génesis was killed the day she vanished, as reported by Need To Know.
Her decomposing body was found on Monday (4 Aug) in the San Felipe municipality of Yaracuy state, Venezuela.
The suspect and his brother Keiwart Rangel, believed to have acted as an accomplice, were arrested and remain in custody.

George, arrested before the body was discovered, reportedly gave contradictory statements to investigators in an attempt to mislead them.
He reportedly works as an administrative employee for the Scientific, Penal and Criminalistic Investigation Service Corps (CICPC).
His brother was reportedly captured in Valencia with Génesis’s mobile phone, from which suspicious messages were sent — including one claiming: “I’m fine. I’m not missing or anything.”
Police tracked the phone’s signal to locate the scene of the crime.
Génesis’s devastated loved ones were unaware she was pregnant.
Venezuela’s Public Ministry has confirmed both suspects will be charged with aggravated femicide.
