A cruel thug has been accused of killing a seagull by picking it up and throwing it against a bin.
The man was allegedly seen taking the bird – often regarded as a seaside menace – from the pavement.
He then hit it against a litter bin and threw it inside, it is claimed.

Staff at a nearby shop went to find the bird, but it had already died.
The grey-bearded man is thought to be in his 60s and was wearing glasses, a dark coat and a t-shirt with a distinctive logo.
The shocking incident was captured on CCTV in Whitechapel, in Liverpool, as reported by Need to Know.

The RSPCA have launched an investigation
RSPCA Inspector Louise Showering said: “We’ve received upsetting footage of a juvenile gull, who was unable to fly, allegedly being picked up from the pavement and hit with some force against a bin in Liverpool.
“The bird was later retrieved from inside but had sadly died.
“We’re very keen to establish what happened and we’d like to speak to this man as we believe he may have important information which will help with our enquiries.
“We hope this individual now comes forward or can be identified.”

It happened at 8.20pm on Tuesday, 1 July, but the shocking incident has only just come to light.
