A jealous sister allegedly ordered her sibling’s murder over a suspected affair with her husband.
Aline Thayane de Oliveira Azevedo was shot dead in front of her seven-year-old daughter.
Police believe the killing was allegedly orchestrated by Aline’s 22-year-old sister, Gabriela Alves Braga.
It is suspected to be in retaliation for a suspected fling between Gabriela’s husband, 24-year-old Raimundo Nonato Lopes Freire, and the victim.

According to police chief, John Castilho, “Gabriela suspected her husband was having an affair with the victim and hired hitmen to kill her.
“The crime was premeditated, and all indications are that she and Raimundo were also involved in drug trafficking.”
The shooting happened last Thursday (25 Sept), as reported by Need To Know.
Investigators say the getaway driver, 47-year-old Márcio Robson, was paid R$2,500 (£349).

Meanwhile, the alleged gunman, 22-year-old Carlos José da Silva Barbosa, had a drug trafficking debt forgiven in return for carrying out the killing.
The pair reportedly waited near 24-year-old Aline’s home before she left to take her daughter to school.
While sitting in their car, they pretended to read the book 10 requisitos para entrar no céu – 10 Requirements to Enter Heaven – to avoid suspicion.
When Aline appeared, Carlos allegedly stepped out and shot her in the head.

CCTV footage later tracked the vehicle reportedly used in the attack.
Police arrested Márcio over an hour’s drive from the scene within hours of the murder.
At the time of reporting, Gabriela, Raimundo, and Carlos remained on the run.
Raimundo is accused of co-masterminding the crime, with the search for all suspects ongoing.
The shocking killing took place in Manacapuru, near Manaus, Brazil, leaving the local community reeling.
