Locking its jaw, the stray then began to drag the vulnerable big cat across the dirt.
Witnesses claimed the leopard was pulled along for at least 300 metres before managing to escape.
Fortunately for the big cat, it managed to escape the dog’s grasp, fleeing into a nearby field where it has not been seen since.
Another stray dog, alongside passersby, watched on in horror as the stray displayed its dominance.

Forest Officials have not confirmed whether or not the injured leopard received medical treatment.
