Comedian Jason Manford accidentally smashed his own car’s back window with his kid’s bicycle.
The 44-year-old funnyman made the blunder while reversing his family car on the way to a half-term getaway.
Jason had taken his wife Lucy Dyke and their three children on a trip to North Wales to celebrate what he called one of the “biggest gigs” of his life at Co-op Live in Manchester on Friday (24 Oct).
The family drove to a chalet for the break, which Jason cheekily admitted was “worse” than their home, as reported by Need To Know.
After a long two-hour drive, the comic fitted his kids’ bikes to the back of the car, but things quickly went wrong when he started reversing.
One of the handlebars ended up smashing through the rear glass – twice.
Jason, from Salford, Greater Manchester, shared the mishap with fans, joking about the disaster online.
He said: “Just arrived on holiday in Wales and managed to put my own back window through.
“The handlebars of one of the kids’ bikes went straight through it.
“After the massive high of last night’s show, life clearly decided to give me a quick kick in the arsebone to keep my feet on the ground.
“Nothing like a bit of smashed glass to stop you getting too full of yourself.
“Gareth from National Windscreens, Bangor, popped along to temporarily weather-proof the back door of our car.

“Just gotta keep fingers crossed that Mercedes-Benz sort the part out before Thursday.
“May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favour, Gareth.”
Jason called out National Windscreens, who sent Gareth to patch up the van and keep it weatherproof until Mercedes-Benz can send a replacement part – hopefully before the family’s drive home on Thursday (30 Oct).
After performing for a packed arena crowd, Jason’s little holiday hiccup proved that even comedy stars can’t escape life’s everyday slip-ups.
