Shocking new footage has revealed the terrifying force of Hurricane Melissa as it ripped through Jamaica.
The dramatic clip, shared by Ground Force Humanitarian Aid on Facebook, has already been viewed more than 911,000 times.
It captures the moment ferocious winds batter a coastal community, ripping through streets and sending debris flying through the air, as reported by Need To Know.

In other heart-stopping footage, cars and homes are swallowed by floodwaters, with locals wading through chest-deep water as the storm rages on.
Authorities have since declared Jamaica a disaster zone as emergency crews battle to reach those trapped by the floods.
The clip was shared on Tuesday (28 Oct), alongside a chilling message from the aid group that read: “We are shipping our SAFE Camp equipment over to establish a safe place for teams to organise and work from.
“Say a prayer for safety as we go into the unknown.”
Hurricane Melissa made landfall late Monday (27 Oct) night, unleashing winds of more than 120mph and torrential rain across the island.
Rescue operations are still underway as officials warn the worst may not be over yet.
