A beloved “trucker girl” influencer who inspired women to break into the male-dominated world of lorry driving has tragically died of a stroke aged just 41.
Oti Cabadas, known online as Coco Trucker Girl, passed away on Monday (27 Oct) after collapsing on her way home from a classic vehicle meet.
The popular social media star – who had racked up hundreds of thousands of followers for her upbeat trucking videos – began suffering from severe headaches before fainting in Alcañiz, Spain.

She was airlifted to hospital in Zaragoza, but sadly died soon after, as reported by Need To Know.
Oti, originally from Fornelos de Montes, had left behind her teenage dream of becoming a hairdresser to hit the open road, first climbing into a lorry at just 22 years old.
She later settled in Palencia, where her career truly took off.

Defying those who told her she wouldn’t make it, Oti once recalled being told by a teacher: “This isn’t for you.”
But she proved them wrong – driving thousands of miles across Europe and proudly declaring: “I got into the lorry — and never got out.”
Oti’s charisma, humour and infectious positivity made her a social media sensation, especially on TikTok, where she had over 300,000 followers.
Through her videos, she celebrated the highs and hardships of life on the road – from long hauls to her signature “red-lip Fridays”, which became a rallying cry for female drivers.
She also used her platform to champion work-life balance and equal opportunities in the transport industry.
Following her death, tributes poured in from across Spain’s trucking community.

The Spanish Confederation of Freight Transport said: “Oti was an inspiration to all of us, not just for the joy in her eyes, but for the passion with which she lived her profession and the way she inspired everyone around her.
“She paved the way for many women in the transport sector, proving that this world isn’t just for men.
“She did it by sharing her daily life on social media, spreading her energy and enthusiasm to everyone.
“She shared her optimism with us, lifted our spirits with her ‘red-lip Fridays’, and taught us an essential lesson: fight for what you love and always follow your own path.”
Her fans have since flooded her final posts with heartbroken messages – remembering her as a trailblazer, a fighter, and a true queen of the road.
