A huge snake that was dumped in its tank was almost taken away by bin men.
The poor animal was left outside in its vivarium and thought to be a piece of trash by unsuspecting collectors.

The living animal was left inside its tank before the bins were collected.
The snake was spotted on Montagu Road, Edmonton, near Tottenham, north London.

The discovery took place on Wednesday (26 Nov), as reported by Need To Know.
Chris Newman, director at the National Centre for Reptile Welfare, pleaded for locals to go and collect the snake after getting word of its abandonment.
Despite fears of the animal being taken by bin men, the vivarium was discovered with the snake missing.
Locals invested in the missing animal believe it has been rescued.

Despite this the snake’s current whereabouts is unknown.
Chris Newman said: “After receiving lots of messages yesterday the situation became very confusing.
“A number of people offered to go and collect the snake and one person was on the way when I received a call that the vivarium had been moved, though to have been taken by the bin men.
“I received this message this morning from the person that reported the incident.
“Hopefully someone has collected the snake.”
Members of the public have been left shocked by the incident.
Emily Wright said: “Disgusting so many would have taken that poor baby, praying for her.”

Benjamin Curry added: “That’s so sad. It was below freezing in London last night as well.”
Gio Louis said: “Absolutely diabolical.”
Sarah Cer added: “Oh my God this is horrendous.”

Mercia Cooper said: “It’s very thin.”
