A fleet of supercars worth £34m have been seized from an influencer accused of money laundering by cops
Maria Karollyny Campos Ferreira, known online as Karol Digital, is under investigation for allegedly moving more money through illicit gambling schemes.
A court has authorised the early auction of assets belonging to the influencer.

Among the items set to be auctioned are seven vehicles including a McLaren Artura valued at around £470,000 and a Porsche worth approximately £155,000.
Police also seized seven properties and a farm valued at £1.25 million, as reported by Need To Know.
The proceeds from the auction will be deposited into a court controlled account and held until the conclusion of criminal proceedings.

If Karol is convicted, the assets will be permanently forfeited to the state.
Karol and her boyfriend, Dhermerson Rezende Costa, were arrested on 22 August in Araguaína, north of Brasilia, Brazil on suspicion of running an illegal gambling operation, criminal association, money laundering and crimes against the public economy.
She spent three months in prison before being placed under house arrest, while Costa remains in custody at the Araguaína detention centre.
According to Brazil’s civil police, Karol used her online influence to promote illegal gambling platforms, allegedly faking gambling winnings to mislead followers and encourage them to use the sites.

Investigators say she charged up to £4,700 per post to advertise gambling websites, despite publicly claiming she had no contractual relationship with the companies.
Police allege that between 2019 and 2024, around £34.3 million was moved through 30 bank accounts across 13 financial institutions linked to the scheme.
In personal deposits alone, Karol is said to have received more than £5.8 million from illegal gambling platforms.
