A brave shopkeeper grabbed a shovel to fend off a crook who tried to steal his till.
The man was standing behind the counter when the hooded thief walked in.
He emptied a green jerrycan behind the till and a reddish liquid was seen pouring out.

He said: “Give me all the money.
“Give me all the money now before I set you on fire.”
The shopkeeper went out the back and grabbed a shovel.
The crook added: “I’m going to set you on fire.
“I’m going to set you on fire.”
He raised it and forced the crook out of the off license.
The pair disappeared from the view of the CCTV for 45 seconds before the shopkeeper was seen moving backwards.
The man leant over and tried to grab the till but it fell on the ground.
He went behind the counter after a melee but the hero shop worker went to try and get it.
Screaming could be heard on the security camera.
He appeared to whack the man with the shovel before he was forced out.
The crook added: “Get the f*ck off me now.”
Another man came to his rescue before the two-minute-and-42-second clip came to an end.
It happened in Wembley, west London and happened on Sunday (14 Dec) at 8:45am, it is understood.

Rebecca France said: “F*cking brilliant.”

Callum Kaczorowski added: “Boss man needs a baseball bat on the counter.”
Jack said: “Bless him, this is so sad.”
Gee joked: “Somebody said we got spades before GTA 6.”
One added: “Got what deserves.”

The Met Police has been approached for comment.
