A broken down BMW was towed along a busy A-road on its rims as sparks flew off the wheels.
The blue 1 Series – worth about £30,000 – was on the back of the truck.
It has its hazard light on.
But the tyres on the back wheels so worn the metal rims were touching the road.
Sparks were seen flying off the back of the 70-reg BMW.
The five second video then came to an end.
It happened on the A406 North Circular near Ealing on Monday (15 Dec) evening.
One witness – a passenger in a passing vehicle – told Need To Know: “I was on the A406 and noticed the car.
“It was smoking and there was burning from the tyres.”
One local joked: “Meanwhile on the A406 North Circular.”
Another fumed: “They need to pull over.
“B*oody idiots.”
