A soggy doggy was plucked to safety after getting marooned on rocks as the tide came in.
The pooch was cut off from the beach due to the rising water.
A lifeboat crew was sent out and managed to save the Malinios Alsatian cross.

The dog was spotted at the bottom of 40ft cliffs near Broadstairs, Kent.
The rigid inflatable boat managed to get close enough to allow two crew members to get ashore.

They attached a rope and carried the dog to safety to a nearby beach.
Eye witness Mark Stanford told Need To Know: ”The dog was extremely lucky.
“As it was trapped at the bottom of the cliffs with a rapidly incoming tide.

“The RNLI guys did a great job with just minutes to spare.”
The dog was handed over to police and its owners are trying to be traced.
Dog walkers are being urged to check tide times.
