A horror sinkhole left two cars trapped after the road collapsed, with drivers forced to climb out to avoid injury.
The shocking incident took place yesterday (24 Feb).
Omaha Police Department and the local fire service attended the scene, where they found s silver Dodge Ram pick-up and maroon Jeep SUV in the deep shaft.

The SUV was barely visible with the rear of the car swamped inside the sinkhole.
Thankfully, both drivers were able to safely exit their vehicles, as reported by Need To Know.
The truck driver exited first and then assisted the second driver alongside bystanders.
The accident took place around 3.30pm “just east” of an intersection of 67th and Pacific St. in the Aksarben neighborhood, Omaha, Nebraska.
The road was temporarily shut to east and westbound traffic.

People were stunned by the severity of the sinkhole.
Meghan said: “Someone should have told them they can’t park there.”

Pam added: “What an excuse to be late for something!”
Dennis said: “That will shake a person up, glad nobody got hurt.”
Nancy added: “If i was in one of those cars id probably have a heart attack literally.”
Aggie said: “Whoever drove those cars are going to have serious PTSD after that. How terrifying would that be?!”
Ann said: “This is my worst nightmare.”

Thankfully, no one was injured and both cars were later removed, Omaha Police Department Officer Sarah Martier confirmed in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
