A “road-rage” driver was subdued after allegedly running over a traffic officer and then physically attacking him.
Footage shows the driver’s car stopped in the middle of the road, its right wheels lifted off the tarmac.

The helmeted officer approached the man to confront him, only to be grabbed violently.
The furious driver dragged him toward the grassy roadside, where they continued grappling.
The driver tried to trip the officer, but ended up flooring himself as the policeman overpowered him.
He could be seen restraining the man on the ground as several colleagues rushed in to assist.
The shocking scenes were recorded in Bogotá, Colombia, on Tuesday (3 Mar) afternoon, as reported by Need To Know.
Reports say the officer had been chasing the driver after he evaded a police checkpoint.
The driver had allegedly been violating “pico y placa” restrictions – a system that bans certain vehicles from circulating at specific times based on the last digit of the number plate.
He reportedly accelerated when the officer blocked his path with the motorcycle, but the policeman managed to jump clear just before the bike was trapped under the car.
Bogotá Traffic Police confirmed: “The suspect was arrested and will face charges of violence against a public servant and damage to property.”
