A notorious pork thief called the ‘Pink Panther’ has been spotted running away after snatching £45 worth of bacon.
The shoplifting swine was caught on CCTV shoving 30 packets of unsmoked bacon into their bag.
The suspect has been dubbed the ‘pink panther’ due to their dazzling bright pink hooded outfit that conceals the individual’s identity.

Nikesh Patel, owner of the store targeted by the thief, shared the CCTV footage online which racked up a whopping 56,100 views.
“It stood out straight away and made the whole situation quite surreal and, in a way, comical,” Nikesh, from Northampton, told NeedToKnow.
“We’ve been calling them the ‘Pink Panther’ because of what they were wearing.
“Incidents like this do happen in retail, but this one stood out because of how unusual it looked.”
The thief targeted the Costcutter store in Lumbertubs, Northampton, on 10 Feb.
The 36-year-old owner of the store was stumped after noticing the bacon shelf had been raided.
After reviewing the security cameras he discovered the horrifying truth that his shop had been swindled by the ‘Pink Panther’.
The clip shows the suspect loading his black backpack with stolen goods – taking ‘bringing home the bacon’ to a whole new level.
The thief can then be seen sprinting down the street as they fled the crime scene.
Nikesh said: “While this one has a humorous side, shoplifting is still a serious issue for small businesses.
“We deal with incidents like this regularly, and it does have an impact.
“At the same time, if sharing clips like this helps raise awareness and gives people a bit of a laugh, then there’s something positive to take from it.”
Viewers were left in stitches by the bizarre crime.
One person said: “Pink Panther, love it.”
Another person added: “Dressed in the perfect colour.”
One other person said: “She’s back again.”
